        ສູນວິເຄາະລະບາດວິທະຍາ, ກະຊວງສາທາລະນະສຸກ ໄດ້ຈັດກອງປະຊຸມຂໍການສະໜັບສະໜູນຈາກການນໍາທ້ອງຖີ່ນກ່ຽວກັບການເຝົ້າລະວັງພະຍາດວໍ້ໃນຊຸມຊົນ ໂດຍມີຈຸດປະສົງເພື່ອໃຫ້ການນໍາເຫັນໄດ້ເຖິງຄວາມສໍາຄັນຂອງການວຽກງານການເຝົ້າລະວັງພະຍາດວໍ້ໃນສະຖານບໍລິການສາທາລະນະສຸກ ແລະ ຊຸມຊົນ;

        ກອງປະຊຸມໄດ້ນໍາສະເໜີໃຫ້ເຫັນສະພາບການຕິດເຊື້ອພະຍາດວໍ້ໃນ ສປປ ລາວ, ຍຸດທະສາດການກັນ ແລະ ຄວບຄຸມພະຍາດວໍ້ (ເນັ້ນໜັກອົງປະກອບກ່ຽວກັບວຽກງານເຝົ້າລະວັງພະຍາດວໍ້ໃນຄົນ ແລະ ສັດ) ວຽກງານເຝົ້າລະວັງພະຍາດວໍ້ໃນຊຸມຊົມໃນແຂວງທີ່ຖືກຄັດເລືອກ, ຜົນການປະເມີນແບບໄວຂອງສັດກັດໃນສະຖານບໍລິການສາທາລະນະສຸກແຕ່ປີ 2020-2023, ລະບົບການລາຍງານພະຍາດວໍ້ໃນຊຸມຊົນ ໂດຍນຳໃຊ້ເຄື່ອງມືໃນການລາຍງານເຊັ່ນ: ແບບຟອມ ແລະ ປື້ມບັນທຶກລາຍງານຂັ້ນຕອນມາດຖານການປະຕິບັດງານ (SOP), ແຜ່ນພິກ ແລະ ປົດສະເຕີ ແລະ ສິ່ງອໍານວຍຄວາມສະດວກອື່ນໆ;

ນອກຈາກນັ້ນກອງປະຊຸມຍັງໄດ້ສົນທະນາຫົວຂໍ້ທີ່ຕ້ອງການຂໍການສະໜັບສະໜູນຈາກການນໍາທ້ອງຖີ່ນ ເພື່ອເອົາວຽກງານເຝົ້າລະວັງພະຍາດວໍ້ເຂົ້າໃນວາລະປະຊຸມຂອງທ່ານເຈົ້າເມືອງ, ຫ້ອງການສາທາເມືອງ, ຫ້ອງການກະສິກຳເມືອງ ແລະ ພະແນກກະສິກໍາແຂວງ ພ້ອມກັນນັ້ນກໍຮຽກຮ້ອງໃຫ້ແຕ່ລະຂັ້ນເອົາໃຈໃສ່ປະຕິບັດຕາມຄູ່ມືການເຝົ້າລະວັງຢ່າງເຂັ້ມງວດ, ເຊື່ອມສານພະຍາດວໍ້ເຂົ້າໃນການລົງຕິດຕາມຊຸກຍູ້ກິດຈະກໍາອື່ນໆຂອງທ່ານເຈົ້າແຂວງ, ເມືອງ ແລະ ພາກສ່ວນອື່ນໆທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງ,

Satoko OTSU ຕາງໜ້າອົງການອະນາໄມໂລກ ປະຈໍາ ສປປ ລາວ ພ້ອມດ້ວຍຜູ້ຮ່ວມຈາກພາກສ່ວນທີ່ກ່ຽວຂ້ອງຂັ້ນສູນກາງ, ແຂວງ ແລະ ເມືອງ, ສະໜັບສະໜູນໂດຍ DFAT ຜ່ານອົງການອະນາໄມໂລກ ປະຈໍາ ສປປ ລາວ.

        Meeting to seek support from local leaders on community rabies surveillance, May 14, 2024, Paklay District, Xayaburi Province  Epidemiological Analysis Center,The Ministry of Health organized a meeting to seek support from local leaders on community rabies surveillance with the aim of making leaders aware of the importance of rabies surveillance work in health facilities and the community;

 The meeting presented the status of rabies in the Lao PDR, the strategy for the prevention and control of rabies (with an emphasis on the component of rabies surveillance in humans and animals), rabies surveillance in selected provinces, the results of the rapid assessment of animal bites in health facilities from 2020-2023, the community rabies reporting system using reporting tools such as: reporting forms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), flipcharts and posters, and other facilities;

In addition, the meeting discussed topics that require support from local leaders to include rabies surveillance in the agenda of the mayor, the district office, the district agriculture office, and the provincial agriculture department. At the same time, it was requested that each level pay attention to strictly following the surveillance manual, integrating rabies into other monitoring and promotion activities of the provincial governor, the district, and other relevant parties.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Phetphixay Sounvilay, Deputy Governor of Xayaboury Province, Dr. Phayvanh Keopaseuth, Deputy Minister of Health; Dr. Phonepadit Sangsayalath, Director-General of the Department of Communicable Disease Control; Dr. Satoko OTSU, representative of the World Health Organization in Lao PDR, along with participants from relevant departments at the central, provincial and district levels, supported by DFAT through the World Health Organization in Lao PDR.
